Erasmus+ Sevilla exchange

How my week there looked.

Monday morning we left at around 12 from our school in Hoogeveen, we drived to Schiphol by car. There we had to wait a couple of hours till we could depart. We went sitting on the benches there and relax while our plane was getting ready to leave. When we arrived in Spain we had to wait like 1 hour for our luggage to come to us. Then i meeted my hosts and we went home, it was a 30 minute drive. I had my first dinner at around 11 o'clock which i was not used to.

Tuesday, I had to get out of bed early because we had to be in school early. When we were in school we had a class of maths, i would love to experience their classes but i did not understand the teacher and the whole class was sitting by me because they found me interesting. In the afternoon we had a short Flamenco workshop, we all had to dance. This was a practice because we had to dance in the city a couple days later. For lunch we ate Paella. Later that day we went home and we played some games on the Xbox and we had dinner, i went to bed early because i was tired.

Wednesday, we hired some bikes and went driving through the whole city by bike. First we went to isla de cartuja where they had very old national gardens which where very impressive. Then we went to Triana this was a old neighbourhood with a big indoor market where we bought chili peppers, this was also where i took the picture you can see. After that we went to the city center where we could go shopping. Me and Hadees went to go to the McDonalds. That afternoon i went to meet Hadees with my host.

Thursday, we also went to the city center. In the morning we had to do our dance on a big city square. We had a lot of viewers and people that were filming us. After that we went to the Royal Palace and the cathedral which was very big.

Friday, we went to the national park Donana. It was a 2 hour drive and it was near the south coast of spain. We drove through the park with a safari bus. It was very funny and we saw a lot of animals, we even saw a lynx. After that we went to El Rocio, a local town near the park. This really reminded me of a cowboy town, all the roads there were from sand. We walked through the town where we found a local supermarket and we bought some food. We then went back to Sevilla where my hosts took me to a tour through the Real Betis Stadium. That was very impressive and cool because it was a big football club. That night we went to Nervion, a big shopping center in the City.

Saturday morning we worked on the Erasmus project, this evening we went to the city center were we could go shopping. After that we went to the uncle from my host that lived in the city center were we could go on the roof to see a amazing view of the city. The father of my host picked us up after and we went to the oldest restaurant in the city to get some Tapas, it was delicious. Then we went home and ordered some pizza.

Sunday was the last day where we had a party in the school and we went bowling after, we ate at the mcdonalds. That night i packed up and we left the day after.

It was a great experience and i learned a lot.
